Why not one global setting?
Because mixed rules are where mistakes hide. A payslip must never show another country’s deduction; a tax invoice must carry a valid tax number; a restaurant must follow the working-time rules of its own region. Keeping countries apart by design means these mistakes cannot happen by accident.
The same quality everywhere
Packs are versioned, so when a rate or a form changes, it changes from a date, and history stays exactly as it was. Our products already speak several languages, with more on the way, so the people using them can work in the language they think in.
